Once you reach Thassos island, head south along the route through Skala Kallirachi. It is a 40-kilometer drive from the port of Thassos town and 25 kilometers from the harbor in Prinos. If you are in Golden Beach, the shorter route to Limenaria goes through Paradise Beach.

Palataki is a two-floor sizeable historical building that overlooks the port of Limenaria from a cliff. It was built in 1903 to house the head office of Speidel Mineral Company during the mining activity in Metalia.
